GirlAdvocates! is a student organization at the University of Texas at Austin created in 2013. We are focused on encouraging and promoting education, self-image, and mentorship for young girls in the Austin area and around the world. We support and work with our philanthropy, The Girl Effect, to raise awareness of issues facing young girls globally. We are extremely proud and humbled to announce that in 2014 we won the award for ​Best New Organization on campus!
